Cardiff Cycle Workshop

Cardiff Cycle Workshop is CTW’s award-winning bike-recycling enterprise and repair workshop.

Our mission is to increase access to cycling and reduce the number of bikes going onto the scrapheap. We take in unwanted and abandoned bikes, recondition them and then sell them to the general public at our workshop sales.

Without donated bikes, Cardiff Cycle Workshop could not operate, it’s as simple as that! If you have an old bike you no longer need, for whatever reason, we’d be glad to to take it in. If you can bring the bike to the workshop, we won’t turn you away. If you need to come outside our opening times, you can leave the bike at the Cardiff Council Recycling Centre at Bessemer Close where there is a dedicated cage for bikes.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our workshop. If you have some spare time and would like to get involved in refurbishing our bikes please give Workshop Coordinator, Jon, a call on 07808987798. Alternatively you can download an application form here.

If you are would like to develop your own bike recycling project, then you can take advantage of our experience for help and advice. Please get in touch.
