School training

Our National Standard school cycling courses give child trainees the skills they require to undertake journeys on today’s roads. We deliver in partnership with number of Welsh local authorities.

Cycle Training Wales carefully recruits instructors who are enthusiastic cyclists and show the highest levels of professional competence. In particular, we strongly emphasize the need for excellent communication skills. All our instructors are fully-qualified as National Standard instructors, have first-aid training, and undergo enhanced DBS checks.

As part of our service, we implement all stages of the school training process: scheduling, initial contact with schools, pre-course information and parental consent, and post-course reports and certification.
